For Her

A mother is a mother still, the holiest thing alive

Always loving: always loved

God bless thee wheresoe’er thou art in his great universe today

God called her from among us to a home of eternal rest

God took her home, it was his will, but in our hearts she liveth still

God’s greatest gift returned to God – my mother

Grace was in all her steps, heaven in her eye, in every gesture dignity and love

Her children arise up and call her blessed

Her friends were her world

Her friendship was an inspiration, her love a blessing

Her memory is enshrined in our hearts

May God grant you eternal rest, dear Mother

O, Lord I put her in thy hands

Resting with those she loved

She concealed her tears but shared her smiles

She gave so much and demanded so little

She had a kindly word for each and she died beloved by all

She is resting peacefully with Jesus in that beautiful home above

She lives with us in memory and will for evermore

She loved people and laughter

She passed through glory’s morning gate and walked in paradise

She served and kept the faith

She walked in beauty

She would rather give than receive

To know her was to love her

When she had passed, it seemed like the ceasing of exquisite music

For Him

A loving father, tender and kind, what a beautiful memory you left behind

A man greatly beloved

At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember him

Fond memories linger every day, remembrance keeps him near

God took him home, it was His will, but in our hearts he liveth still

He had a kindly word for each and died beloved by all

He lives with us in memory and will for evermore

He loved his fellowman

He loved people and laughter

He was beloved in life

His friends were his world

His friendship was an inspiration, his love a blessing

His greatest joy was in making others happy

His joy was in serving others

His life was gentle, and the elements so mix’d  in him, that nature might stand up and say to all the world, “This was a man!”

His mission on earth fulfilled

My pal on earth, God’s angel in heaven

No man is indispensable but some are irreplaceable

O, Lord I put him in thy hands

On him and on his high endeavor the light of praise shall shine forever

Resting with those he loved

The world’s loss was heaven’s gain when God took you home

To know him was to love him

To live with him and sing in endless morn of light!

To those who knew and loved him his memory will never grow old

We loved him a lot but God loved him more

General

In loving memory

Loving memories last forever

May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace

Not lost to memory! Not lost to love! But gone to our Father’s house, above

Ours for a little while, with Jesus forever

Rest in Peace

Rest is thine, sweet memory ours

Step softly, a dream lies buried here

Sweetly sleeping

The song is ended, but the melody lingers on

To live in the hearts of those we love is never to die

Together forever

Too well loved to ever be forgotten

Until we meet again

What we keep in memory is ours unchanged forever

Your love will light my way your memory will ever be with me
